If we do, I would expect it to be a completely different control, rather
than an upgrade to the existing one.

Having said that, there are other options out there, and MS have done
their best not to tread on the toes of component vendors in the past, so
perhaps we won't see an MS one...

My guess is that they'd have liked to have done a better job of it, but
as we know, features were postponed in order to get the V1 release out.
Maybe we'll see an improved toolbar built into a later version.
