Thomas, It is not a spam. I personally like to see what is going on in the industry by reading this list and yes, that includes the product announcements. It is highly relevant content to the list. It is not YOUR list and it is not YOUR mail box. If the owners of the list that pay the bill for hosting are OK with this, then you don't have ANY right to start policing the list. Who gave you the right? I don't recall seeing the owners letting you run like a shepherd around? Did they?
You want to police the list? Please, get your OWN list for your OWN money and then YOU can set the rules. You are behaving like child. Grow up or just go away.
