Assalam o Alakum Wa Rahmatullah, As per my understanding of your problem (correct me if i misunderstood) you should choose from two of the following;
1. Use HTTPHANDLERS --Pretty old technique working since .net framework 1.1 but still equally good and no problems at all. 2. you can use Microsoft Office tools (combination of interop assemblies and tolls itself). --This solution is not highly recommende by Microsoft though you can use it; In one of my most recent project; one of my team member used it in a case and he had some problems. If you need any code level assistance I can help you with that as well.
