It's good that you made a move to C#. It's a language closer to Java. :) I myself came from a Java camp, but I find C# more appealing and have been using it since.
I recommend you use C# 2005 and higher. Among the features you will find useful here is the use of generics which is not present in Visual Studio 2003. I/We java programmers then rely heavily on the use of generics and MVC. You will find generics very handy. Cheers!
