Hello!

I've recently opened an account for our project on the social networking
service Identi.ca. I'll try to regularly post there short news about us:

http://identi.ca/doudoulinux

This is a kind of twitter but build upon free software exclusively and
publishing all our data under CC-BY licenses ;). So they're not stealing our
work and putting their own license and ownership on it! Even the underlaying
software engine is free software, not only the so-called LAMP architecture
(Linux-Apache-MySQL-Php) that is benefiting to many very large IT companies
(whose name are starting by G or F for example :p).

Some of you also proposed that we make live a Facebook account. Indeed I saw a
doudoulinux account on Facebook.es months ago. I don't know who opened it and
for what since I've never heard of this initiative. But it is now private pages
that I cannot access anymore (yes, I have no Facebook account ;) ).

Personally I won't spend time on Facebook and if one of you wants to do it for
the project, please first report us about the terms and conditions ;). I don't
want us to put our data there and end with loosing our control on them, à la
Youtube :p. Of course if you know a Facebook competing service don't hesitate
to tell us! However I'm not sure whether we really need an additional service
to Identi.ca right now.

As usual: please comment and suggest as long as necessary.

Cheers,
JM.
