Hello Xavier, Welcome to our mailing list and thank you for all your congratulations. We are really pleased to see that your family is enjoying DoudouLinux as much and hope this will last for a long :).
However, despite our efforts, we know that we're still not perfect! I recently received a Russian mail highlighting that people may not see that it is not a standard (Windows) application. In your case you met the current limitations of our installer. They will be fixed in the future but should be certainly more highlighted in our documentation for now. In the meanwhile you may also want to test what could be one day an advanced DoudouLinux installer, thanks to Remastersys: http://blog.doudoulinux.org/post/2011/04/09/Clean-install-of-DoudouLinux-on-hard-disk This is currently the only way we have to install DoudouLinux along with another system (multi boot). Finally, if you feel like contributing to our project or know people who would do, please note that we need technical skills for various tasks, ranging from small GUI development to web services. Working in the IT is then not so little important for us! We still cannot provide you with a clear status of our wishes yet but it's on the road :). Thank you again for your kind message. Cheers, JM.
