Hello!

As indicated in several previous messages, I'd like to include music pieces of
each culture in the CD. I'm not looking for MP3 files or so because I'd like
children and parents be able to read/print the lyrics and play the music live
whenever possible :). For these reasons we rather need the lyrics text and the
music score if possible. Of course if an audio file is available somewhere
online, it is easier then to evaluate the difficulty of the task.

We can start with classical children songs, but I'd like to open to the general
culture afterwards. The only constraints are authorship rights: the song/music
must be older than the author death date + 50/70 years (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright#Copyright_term). We should then not
include music created after early 20th century, except free art license.

I propose that once a song is identified, you open a ticket on our sub-project
dedicated to audio and music and write the details:

http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/audio

We'll then have to find benevolent musicians to do the job. This can obviously
be yourself or a friend/relative ;).

Cheers,
JM.
