Ok, nice idea :).

If you have enough time you can also participate to the migration to Squeeze 
concerning translations, I'm going to explain. For Squeeze we have to rebuild 
the lang/ section of our source code (PO files) from all the official Debian 
packages. Then we will port our existing translations to complement these 
official translations. What you can do is to collect the official PO files and 
POT files (when they exist) in the various official Debian packages. I just 
created a ticket to explain this task:

It has a parent ticket which explains how to get ready for translating for 
Squeeze ;) (see http://team.doudoulinux.org/issues/124). Note that you can do 
this from your Ubuntu box as well, no need to install Debian instead :p.
