Hello!

The time for the longly awaited moment of the publication of DoudouLinux
Gondwana is about to happen! The final release is currently being uploaded for
most languages. Please take the necessary time to test these CD's before they
officially go online (either on Friday, or on Monday evening – I won't be
online during the week-end :) ). I think this release is really a good release
and I hope it'll meet success all around the world!

All the best,
JM.

PS: if you think that I forgot to mention an important news, feel free to
answer this mail with your scoop!

Team
=====

* Salvatore, who contacted me few months ago concerning Italian translations
but hadn't not found the time to help the project, is back with 2 articles
translated.

Organization
===========

* I've just opened a new sub-project on our online project manager: contests
(see http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/growth-contests). The purpose is to
participate into any contest that would help our project. I also added a
milestone for Google Code-In, in case they renew the event (see
http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/growth-contests/roadmap).

Translations
============

* Few translations were submitted this week (Dutch, Persian, Romanian, Russian).

CDROM
======

I think you know everything about the CD: it's ready! Please rush at
http://download.doudoulinux.org/dailybuild/ :).

Graphics
========

* Elisa provided a replacement for our start and shutdown screens, as well as
the menu of activities. We're still missing the new website banner with a link
to the new page “What's new in the latest release?”.

* OCAL contest: I think we should end it next week, or the week after, before
the summer holidays.

Website
=======

* New English and Romanian articles “What's new in the latest release?” and
“Using networking”. The Russian and French versions are under work.

* New Spanish article “Persistencia de datos”.

* Many English articles updated to prepare the new release. Please look at the
history of English pages to update your own pages:

http://www.doudoulinux.org/spip/ecrire/?exec=suivi_revisions&id_secteur=2

* We have to prepare news for the publication.

Communication
=============

* Xavier made a DoudouLinux show at Café numérique in Bruxelles (see
http://www.slideshare.net/Groumphy/doudoulinux-v11).

Support
