Hello!

Our next development release 2011-11 won't be out before next week. I've
uploaded new dailybuilds this week-end, as CD and USB key images. I
added Italian to the 4 previous languages (en, es, fr, ru) because there
was a ticket specific to Italian: “Verbiste can now conjugate Italian
verbs”. Although there is no criticality in this release, it is better
if some people give it a test!

The latest tickets I've processed are the following:

* Songwrite fails to install at CD build (due to the switch to the
latest upstream version) [1]
* Provide better blocking lists to Epiphany [2]
* Internal HD should be mounted RO at startup [3]
* Allow to disable boot/shutdown music or audio messages [4]

Note that the 3rd ticket is a more important improvement than expected
initially. Before this, it was still possible to mount the computer
internal disks RW from the file manager PCManfm. Now that internal disks
are mounted RO to /mnt, they are not shown in the file manager anymore.
It is then even much safer for Dad's and Mum's data :).

Additionally I started to look at this annoying ticket:

* Gnome keyring never answers user's passwords [5]

It results in passphrase typing each time “Whole DDL” is entered, for a
wifi connection for example. And Gaurav is back to this one:

* TBO drawing edition may stop functionning [6]

Please note that there are now small issues at shutdown/reboot,
supposedly due to Plymouth, the boot animation software. We may deal
with these issues for 2012-02 though. I recall that I'm still looking
for a volunteer to make a boot animation ;).

Cheers,
JM.
