Hi,

I'm glad to announce that the first ISO's shipping with the future new
DDL installer are (almost) available for download from our dailybuild
section:

http://download.doudoulinux.org/dailybuild/realtime.php

Look at the files named “doudoulinux-2013-01-25-[es|fr].iso. The French
ISO is already completed, SHA1 sum checked. The Spanish ISO is being
uploaded and should be ready around 20h UTC, just after lunch in
Venezuela :).

The DDL installation process is quite familiar:

1. enter the activity « Whole DDL »
2. launch a console (Logo key + T)
3. type « sudo live-installer »
4. smartly answer the questions :p

It takes between 5 and 10 minutes on a 8 years old laptop since files
are copied one by one (this is not a disk image). The installation
process should reach its end without any issue and propose to reboot.
However, the installed system is still not perfectly set and you may not
get the splash screen or few other small details.

Note that there is currently no way to escape the partition definition
stage of the installer unless your disk has no partition (very rare). I
plan to add a wizard mode later that would wipe out an entire disk but
would decide of partitions for the user (and also of installing grub2).

Have good trials!

NB: if you wish to test another language, please let me know. I'm now
uploading ISO's using the Sheevaplug that Gérald gave me, so I'm less
reluctant to let it upload data during days than I was before :).
