The installer window is currently very wide due to the world map that
are 800 pixels wide. I plan to down-sample these images.

I think the installer doesn't set the UTC parameter at all. This is
another issue I have to solve (but it's more complicated than one can
think at first glance, because of Windows as usual, on dual boot
configurations). DDL is set to suppose your hardware clock is not UTC,
because Windows does this.

That said I didn't pay attention to the clock settings the installer
did. I'll look as soon as possible. What do you mean « doesn't stay set
after changing »?

Mmmm, maybe there are some tricks for the live CD that did not survive
the installer… This kind of setting, the main menu, must be persistent
when persistence is activated.
