The only way to get debugging information in such cases is to read the file .xsession-errors of each user. If it is quite empty, you can read Gcompris manual to see if there is a debug option. If yes, you have to modify the session launcher pointed in a file in directory /usr/share/xsessions/ of the name of the session. You can also look for processes that may not have quited after session end. Just log in the console TTY1 as root for example. -- Cheers, JM.
