Hi there!

I've just realized there will be a new event “Google Code-In” for the
end of the year:

http://www.google-melange.com/gci/homepage/google/gci2011
http://code.google.com/intl/fr-FR/opensource/gci/2011-12/index.html

The purpose is to have “pre-university students (e.g., high school and
secondary school students ages 13-17)” work on free software projects.
Note that translation tasks can be proposed as well. I don't know how to
apply for our project yet but I'm sure we have to!!! The limit date is
obviously before 21st November, the start of student work.

So I urge all of you to have a look at the contest participation
conditions, think about what could be proposed and tell us. We can plan
regular IRC meetings this week to talk about this important event.

Cheers,
JM.
