Hello there! As I wrote in a previous mail, completing translations on Transifex is proudly giving you a score of 99% or even 100% translated – tonight we have 4 languages at 100% :), which is wonderful, but… not the end! I'm not speaking of translating the website (it is not this mailing list ;) ), I'm speaking of:
* text files not on Transifex * sound files I already see some faces telling “why not all is on Transifex?”. The answer is simple: not all the applications are fully written to be easily translated, and sound files can't go on Transifex. You'll find more information on our website: http://www.doudoulinux.org/web/english/contribute/translate-doudoulinux/translating-applications/index.html I don't pretend to cover all the remaining translations in these pages, since I don't do much translation work. Maybe Marian and Sergey have a better idea? Anyway, if you find the information in these pages unclear, contradictory, incomplete, or missing an application, just complain so that we improve our documentation. Additionally, we have few custom sound messages to translate, that you can download from: http://svn.gna.org/viewcvs/doudoulinux/lang/branches/1.0/apps/doudoulinux/doudoulinux-utils/sounds/ As we still have no portal for sounds, you'll have to email me them. Don't bother with the audio format if you don't want to learn how to convert. On the contrary if you want to provide them in the final format, please convert them to mono/22kHz to reduce disk space. PS: argh, you know what, I'm a bit late for the update of mid September :), you'll have several additional days to improve/complete your translations. Cheers, JM. _______________________________________________ Doudoulinux-lang mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/doudoulinux-lang
