I'm going to be a bit off topic. I saw while building RC1/RC2 that there are some troubles with texts at CD boot or shutdown. I recall you that:
* The very first screen cannot show non pure ASCII chars. This is a limitation of Grub. If this makes sense, you have to transliterate your language into Latin alphabet and remove all accents or any other letter alteration. If this doesn't make sense, let untranslated (English will show). * The latest screen saying “Bye bye” at shutdown is showing a long text. There should be a carriage return in this text if you don't want it to flow out of the screen. Of course if your language requires too many characters to translate the message, you can try to add another carriage return (never tested). The concerned Transifex resources for these small issues are the following: * https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/doudoulinux/resource/doudou-rewrite-ascii/ * https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/doudoulinux/resource/splashy-themes-doudoulinux/ Cheers, JM. ----- [email protected] a écrit : > Hello there! > > As I wrote in a previous mail, completing translations on Transifex is > proudly giving you a score of 99% or even 100% translated – tonight we > have 4 languages at 100% :), which is wonderful, but… not the end!
