I have mailed a little bit with the project, and just asked for some more
information.
They are interested in getting a new solution (ttf font) so the game can be
translated correct, but as often seen, hasn't the resources for it. But is
accepting patches if a solution is found.
I'm not a programmer, but wouldn't mind helping out, with test etc.
I tested the Russian translation, and the text in the game is blank, so
DoudouLinux in Russian has a serious bug here. (I can't say if the translation
was made before the release).
A Danish translation could be made without the 3 missing letters from the
Danish alphabet, but it would look strange, especially for kids.

No, you're the first one to report the issue. I must say I didn't take
much attention to fonts in lbreakout. I can only see three solutions to
that issue:
1. find a replacement font, if any
2. complete the font with the missing characters for your language
3. avoid characters that are not correctly displayed (not always
possible, I know)
Do you have more information about the font that is being used?
