Hello,

1) Vmpk-Virtual MIDI piano: Thanks for the TS file. I am using it to complete
the translation.

2) Pysycache: The author provides an online tool for translation, including
editing the English text source file. So I will use it to submit the English
corrections and for the Thai translation. Then how to update Pysycache is a
further step for which I don't have know-how.

3) for TBO I can provide a few lines of HOW-TO in Thai (and English too), so
that the user can easily start using the app. Is there a way to make the how-to
info available?

Thanks Joe. I think we already noticed this kind of issue with TS files in the
past. I don't know why, it seems the standard TS tools sometimes get confused
between source (English) strings and translated ones. Probably the best
solution in this case is the one Joe proposed: find another TS file that would
have the correct English source strings.

Pysycache uses a raw text file process for translations, with one translated
string per line. You can see an example of these files for Romanian on our SVN
repository:

http://svn.gna.org/viewcvs/doudoulinux/lang/trunk/apps/education/pysycache/lang/ro_RO/

We should probably write scripts to convert these files into standard PO files
but the true solution would obviously be to fix Pysycache so that it uses the
gettext translation process instead. Anyway, the source English files should be
available from the DoudouLinux live environment, from that directory:

/usr/share/games/pysycache/lang/

If you have English fixes to propose, you can send me them so that I can fix
them on DoudouLinux. I suggest you also send fixes to the upstream author, a
French man.

NB: many upstream authors are not English native speakers. It is frequent that
source strings are not written in perfect English!

Ok, there should be a mistake in the icon launch command :).

NB: team.ddl.org seems to be down. We have frequent issues with this server, we
need to move it to another server.

Yes, this is a known issue: the documentation is an SVG file that cannot be
easily translated. One of my plans was to find/develop tools able to translate
text files that use tags, like Html, Xml, SVG. Unfortunately, this requires
time and nobody has taken the time to dive into this task yet. In the
meanwhile, the easiest solution is probably to edit the Spanish documentation
from within TBO. That said, I don't know how to tell TBO that an alternative
documentation is available then!
