The EXTRA_PACKAGES feature already used, however many thanks for pointing it out here for the benefit of other users. Re use of the amsmath package: Where do you know that the quoted documentation lines are in the whole universe the only and single ones using this feature? ;) I think this package is one of the basic ones for LaTeX documents with formulae. But I can surely live with putting it into the EXTRA_PACKAGES slot.
