The project's internal abbreviation is SWTP (for "Softwaretechnik-Projekt", engl. "Software Engineering Project"). So "SWamp TramPs" is meant an alternative long form. Nice touch -- and: a "tramp", of course, is someone who is roaming, as every dictionary will confirm.
