Saros-build is now up and running with updated system packages and updated Gerrit and Jenkins versions. However, none of its services is visible to the public yet (students of the Computer Science department of Freie Universität Berlin may already continue their work). One side-effect of the ongoing isolation: The STF test cases don't run as usual, because they rely on the host name "saros-con.imp.fu-berlin.de" being resolvable from saros-eclipse1 and 2, which is isn't as of now. The Jenkins "Test_Saros_STF" job is still running, but I guess we can expect an automatic error notification on dpp-devel soon. I disabled the two jobs "Test_Saros_STF" and "Test_STF" for the night, and I will enable them again when host name resolution works again. It's now half past nine in the evening in Germany, so nobody from our IT staff is still here. But we can expect some progress tomorrow. Stay tuned! In case saros-build stays offline some time longer: * Create a GitHub account, fork Saros and provide pull requests. * They can be reviewed and commented as well as Gerrit changes. * Testing, however, needs to be triggered manually. * If you already had open patches in Gerrit, you might want to keep the local branch labels so you can easily push them to your Saros fork on GitHub. * In case you already deleted the local branch labels of your open patches and want to recover them, just contact me.
