Category: Synchronisation / Invitation Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 8 Private: No Submitted By: Karl Beecher (k_beecher) Assigned to: Arsenij E. Solovjev (xeper000) Summary: Incorrect synchronisation when host types during invitation Initial Comment: If a host types at certain points during the invitation process, the synchronisation is not performed correctly and causes the inconsistency indicator to go on immediately. Steps to reproduce: (You should use a larger project that takes a few seconds to synchronise.) 1) Alice invites Bob 2) Before Bob accepts invitation, Alice types 'bbb\n' 3) Bob accepts, is added to session. 4) Before Bob clicks Finish, Alice types 'ccc\n' 5) Bob clicks Finish. While the files are being sent, Alice types 'ddd'. (You may have to keep trying, the editor goes read-only for a while.) After the synchronising has finished, it looks like this on Bob's side: bbb ccc dddccc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Franz Zieris (franzzieris) Date: 2012-05-21 02:10 Message: Step 4) is not possible anymore, Alice receives a "read only" balloon notification. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Donut (donut87) Date: 2011-06-15 13:22 Message: Is that one still open? I thought it was fixed... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=843359&aid=3190183&group_id=167540 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
