Subject: File assocation idea
I'm not a Windows programmer, so feel free to knock me down.
How hard would it be to:
Have the installer associate an extension, say ".dqs"
Instead of naming searches freedb.xml, name them freedb.dqs
When anyone double clicks or otherwise opens a dqs file, as a result of the
association it is copied to the searches folder (and if possible, dqsd is
refreshed).
Now, I know it's not hard to move stuff into the searches folder....but I
still think the added convenience in distributing new searches would be
nice. If you wanted to have additional searches available for download,
they would be easy for even the most casual user to install.
Okay, fire away.
