Dave its been a little while since I installed PHP, but I can tell you that
there were very easy instructions in the PHP bundle...   If I remember right
PHP required a dynamic load setting to be configured in Apache which isnt
defined by default, so you might have to recompile apache first.. All this
was explained in the instructions, and it was pretty easy..

a vanilla RH 7.1 box running Apache. Is there an RPM other other
