You're right John. But, imo this may be the exception, since it's a branding type of issue. I was about to vote no, too, but after thinking about it, I'll cast my vote to make it on by default (assumming it is clearly documented how to turn it off). I'll probably turn it off, to save screen real estate, but I think it's ok to have on because like Alec said, no one will ever know about it otherwise.
