Sure, but Google's Deskbar GUI is pretty much more polished than DQSD's. Less geeky, 
too. Surely the google toolbar woul appeal more to, say, my work colleagues (to whom I 
showed DQSD long agon, making them appalled at my searching / surfing / calculating 
speed, but making them [save 1 or 2 of them] think "this geeky tool is not for me").

But one thing, though. GD is *not* oepn-source at all (did you read the license ? - 
never seen such a human-friendly one, BTW).
