Hi all,

I took the matter into my own hands (and, admittedly, partly into Glenn's,
via IM) and did the following:

- Decided on a version#: 3.1.8
- Built a beta installer
- Created a new sourceforge release [1] with the beta
- Updated the DQSD site with a link to the SF release
- Updated version.xml, so people who have their version sync set on beta
should get a notification. There's a risk it won't work this time, though,
since the URL it's checking [2] no longer returns the XML document, but
rather a CVS version history.

So, whenever Sourceforge's CVS catches up, things should start distributing,
and hopefully people will download and test it out.
It'd be great if you guys could do so as well.

Cheers,
Kim (off to a very private release party)
