FWIW, I've added a new branch to CVS called dqsd-40.

It has the same layout as the HEAD branch, so you'll feel at home.

This is how to get the stuff:

- Create a new local folder acting as your root for DQSD 4.0 development,
call it dqsd-40 or something you feel happy with
- Do CVS Checkout to this folder;
        - Protocol: Secure shell
        - Server: cvs.sourceforge.net
        - Repository folder: /cvsroot/dqsd
        - Module: dqsd
        - Specify branch: dqsd-40 (this is on the Revision tab in
TortoiseCVS)

A new dqsd folder will be created from CVS inside your local dqsd-40. I've
reset the ChangeLog, and updated the version.xml, otherwise all is the same.
The src directory should contain the new DQSDHost project.

I'd be most grateful for any feedback on the new hosting stuff, I'm no pro
when it comes to UI coding :-)

This means you can work on DQSD 3.x and DQSD 4.0 in parallel, since they are
checked out in different trees... If you need to apply fixes in both places,
apparently merging is the way -- I've never tried it, but it should work.

Cheers,
- Kim
