OK Bob can you send the text or an image of the whole error please? Thanks, JB -----Original Message----- John, It does not prompt to
set as default browser and I have not only set in MyIE, but used
setbrowser and manually edited any association that these two had missed. The
only app that fails to load MyIE instead of IE is any link in M'soft Messenger
(another story about how they do this and why I can't bypass it). Even DQSD
uses MyIE, just squawks at the error I mentioned. -=Bob=- -----

AM Subject: RE:
[DQSD-Users] Script error Bob, If you
open MyIE2 directly does it prompt you to make it your default? To resolve the problem for me, I: 1.Set I.E.
as my default. 2.Set
CrazyBrowser as my default (from menu item within CB). 3.Used
SetBrowser util to set CrazyBrowser as my default. (http://www.pc-tools.net/win32/freeware/setbrowser/
) 4.Opened
CrazyBrowser directly (which prompted me to set CB as the default and I said
Yes). That
solved it for me. It may be
a pain, but it may be worth it. JB -----Original Message----- Hi John., Thanks for the reply. You may well be right. I changed browsers recently to MyIE2 (which
is FABULOUS!!!). Do I need to make a change in DQSD? I did change it to be the
default everywhere else I could possibly think of. And DQSD does open it, just
with a script error in search.htm line 12, character 5. Thanks. -=Bob=- ----- Original Message

real busy right now. I know at my work
were running into the end of the year crunch already. Im not sure what your problem is but I will
start with some basics. Can you
reinstall the latest rev? Also what is
your default browser Ive noticed that DQSD was giving me some script errors
but my default browser wasnt set everywhere it needed to be. If these dont work can you attach image or
include the full text of the exact error? Sorry for the delay. JB -----Original Message----- Did not see a reply to this so thought I would try again. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob
Ulius To: DQSD Sent: November 11, 2002 3:42 PM Subject: [DQSD-Users] Script error Hello folks, I have recently encountered
an error in DQSD where I get a script error every time I try to launch from the
bar with a CTL-Enter. There error is in line 12, character 5 of search.htm, but
I can not easily tell what is line 12 with lines that are comments, etc. I'm
not sure how it is counted. Can someone tell me
exactly where to look and how to cure this error? Thanks! -=Bob=- |
