Reading the posts I was thinking I was doing too many clicks to get the url by having to go to the tinyurl site when redirected by dqsd. Since I don't use IE (at this point i'm not sure what anyone would) I had a search, and there is a great extension for firefox, http://tinyurl.com/4wfte right click in a page and select the tinyurl which is then copied to the clipboard. Also found a very useful copy as plain text extension from the same author.
