It sounds like it is running an old comx.xml, or you have the URL cached. This behavior is what you will get when the pattern matching fails to find the string in the destination website.. (which is what was happening after forbetter was removed from comics.com)..

After you get the blank window, do a view source on the page and see what the url is for the image.. I suspect it might be trying to go to comics.com..

Maybe it has something to do with comics pulled from ucomics.com.  Try
viewing 'Dick Tracy' using both of the following methods to see if they
work:

comx /dicktracy
or
comx /dicktracy /nopopup

If neither work, try clearing your browser cache and try again.
