"Real sorry 'bout all this boys an' girls. Never did want it to come down to this.
I mean.. we've been through alot of things since I first came to town. I protected you
for so long, and you gave me one of the greatest gifts a man could give. Friendship."
"I never did like you."
"Don't interrupt me."Jesse stands tall beside the counter, dark hazel colored eyes
staring over at the owner of the building and the business, a rather large crossbow
held in his right hand.
"You, ah.. ye'd better not interrupt the man. He's scary enough as it is." Another man
steps out from the rooms left door with a couple wallets and a few pieces of silver is
his hands. "I know.. jus' know this wasent the most intelligent thing in the world we
could have done. BUt, it sure is paying off."
There are four thieves in total, three in that room and one outside on watch in case
somebody attempted to enter the building.
"Seems that way doesn't it." Jesse raises his free hand to cover his mouth while he
clears his throat before offering the "banker" a grin and raising the crossbow to his
head. "Put the fuckin money in the bag and we won't kill you or any of the others."
The banker hesitates a moment before nodding quietly and ducking down behind the
counter to retrieve some of the money.
Unfortunatly for the four men it's at about that moment they hear a loud, shory scream
from outside the building. Jesse and his two friends stop and turn to the front door.
"What the fuck was that?"
"Sounded like Bob, Jesse.." One of the other men murmers as he moves up towards Jesse.
Jesse shakes his head turning back to where the banker was standing, to find a much
larger, younger man pointing a crossbow of his own at him. Yep. Jesse knows who the
man is.. "Tristan Belmont."
Tristan nods. "At your service, dumbass." he pulls on the crossbows trigger ever so
slightly as he inches the weapon closer to Jesse's head. "So, uh.. what we're you
thinking, comming in here to rob an old man?"
Jesse's other two friends stand motionless watching their friend and tristan speak,
their crossbows held up, aimed at the Guard Captain. They were ovbiously too concerned
about Jesse to realize that the men who had killed Bob had entered the building as
well.
Tristan nods. "Look, Jesse. You don't seem like such a bad guy to me.. so, this is
what i'm going to do for you. I'm going to let you say your sorry to the poor man
you've terrorized. Then i'll think about letting you go.. how does that sound?"
Jesse takes a deep breath. "I'll do anything, Sir." The thief nudges slowly past
Tristan and around the corner to where the banker stands shivering. "I'm sorry." Jesse
even falls to his knees. "I'm really sorry. It'll never happen again."
The sounds of two crossbow triggers letting go is heard.. then two bodies hitting the
floor. Tristan shakes his head with a sigh as he moves around the corner as well.
"Jesse, Jesse, Jesse.. nobody deserves to die the way you will." Tristan's crossbow is
lifted up to the thiefs head and he pulls the trigger. Jesse Burrows and his gang are
dead.
The banker's eyes have widened considerably, he's shivering more than ever, more than
likely in shock of not only seeing a man shot in front of him.. but, because the blood
spattered on his own body as well. "I..I.." He speaks. "I thankyou for helping me.."
The two men that had arrived with Tristan turn the corner then. One unfamiliar, the
other all too familiar. The banker stutters as he looks up at the two men. "And thanks
to you as well Mr. Bridges."
Sephyr grins as he begins to speak. "Told ye they were gonna 'it this place Tristan."
Red-rimmed, brilliant blue eyes are then turned to the old man. "Not everything ends
the way ye think it should.." He closes his eyes as Tristan pulls the trigger of his
bow once more, this time an arrow puncturing the skull of the banker.
Tristan raises both his arms in triumph.. "Lets steal everything.."
