Deep inside an underground cave below the Dwarven Peaks were the 11 remaining
men of Karok's and Elina's Band. There were 43 of them that night, but most were
slayed by the Royal Guards and their 'civil aid'. Lark was one of the survivors, and
as the second in command after Karok he now had the responsability to carry on with
the band, including 'Plan B'.
Leaned against a rock, deep in his thoughts, Lark waited for news from the
battlefield, and they came sooner then expected. Nill was his nickname, a 13 year old,
and probably the most skilled assassin of the Wyvern Raiders. He sat next to the
leader, feeling tired after the long trip.
"So..What are the numbers?" asked Lark, keeping his gaze focused at one of the
rocks.
"28 of ours were killed, 4 were captured by the Guard. 17 of them died..And do
not worry about the captured members. They have no idea this camp exists.."
"..and we have 4 alive. What do you think?"
"Do what we always do, sir Lark..I have their names as well.."
"Good. Null, I want you to get me two heralds. I'll send one to the Guard's
Headquarters at MystHaven, and the other to the Core, requesting some aid.."
"I'm on my way.." replied Null a last time before turning around and walking
away from his leader's presence..
Soon enough, the letter would arrive at MystHaven, adressed to the Captain and
the Lord Marshall.

These are the Royal Guards we have in our hands right now. They are
still alive, but not for too long. Our request is simple: 1000 Crowns for each head.
We expect the money in a week.
DO not try to fool us. We know of your steps. Pay up, and you will get
your men. Any attempts to rescue the Guards will fail, and result in more blood.
Come, with the money, in a week, at the following location..and may
the Gods bless your souls.
