DA: "Greetings grubball fans.  I am Dern Arnak and with me as always is Westin Tarbral and welcome to Grubball Tonight.  We have plenty to cover tonight including a pair of forschbowlers try to keep pace with 'The Unbeatable.'  Elsewhere, a battle between a pair of unbeatables in this year's season, but one would come away with a loss.
DA: "We start in Angelsin, where the bottom-feeding grubballers from Arankeep were coming to town and Angelsin was looking to improve to .500 on the season.  Kan Delrid scored two 1st quinting points and Angelsin looked well on their way to the goal, but the Keepers had other intentions.  Kenglith Tarbador scored twice in the 4th quinting and Arankeep comes away with the win by a final count of 6-5.  Tul with Fists of Steel had 25 kills in the win.
DA: "Mhernettla at Bralk Lakrath.  Thusfar, the Korthai have given a lackluster performance on the field, finding themselves on the lower half of the standings for the first time in a long time.  Despite the killing machine that is Kenglith Mintraslim with 43 kills, the Korthai were victorious.  Elias Ventuth had 2 points and 1 assist in the game and Fenduth the 'People Are' Strange scored once on the Forschbowler Overload, adding 22 kills as well.  The final, Mhernettla the winner, 6-4.

DA: "To Tralazir, where the first place Dracheans were in town looking to stay on top.  The game was less than enjoyable for the Tralazir team as Drache Hinterplodder Urcelon scored twice and added a helper.  Kota the Wolf tallied 31 kills and his first shutout of the season, while his opposite, Eld the Leaky had only 11.
DA: "Westin, Fenduth the Unbeatable, way back in 381, tallied 651 kills on the season.  With Kota and Bolk Sarktuka, we have two current forschbowlers who are on pace to shatter this 90-year old record by nearly 300 kills.  Is it time to start dusting off the plaque to have a new name engraved in the annals?"
WT: "They both provide a strong case with 136 kills on the year.  They are on a torrid pace to start off this season and if they stay on it, they will each have more than 1000 kills by the end of the year.  Let's face it, there are some *teams* that have had trouble coming up with that many kills in the past.  They are both out of the gates quickly but let's remember two things.  First, Bolk Sarktuka is playing on a team that is currently tied for last in the league.  He's getting these kills because no one else is.  If the team recovers and starts playing to their capability, look for his numbers to drop.  The same is true for Kota down in Drache.  Add to that the fact that he has yet to complete an entire season without injury.  Even last year's shortened season, he was sidelined for a couple games and already this year, he had to come out in the middle of the game.  If he stays healthy, the record will tumble to the ground like a hill giant that's had too much to drink."
DA: "An amusing thought, that.  But it is highly conceivable that for once, a defensive record could come crashing down.  It may not even be a question of which one of these two will break the record, but rather who will do it first and who will outlast the other.
DA: "Moving on to the Vale, the battle of the undefeated.  Galanor and Sresar Vale United, both 3-0 coming into the game and Westin, something's gotta give."
WT: "And give it did, Dern.  Galanor came out quick, scoring immediately to try and take the home crowd out of the game, but as we all know, it's been sometime since the Vale has been able to get excited about grubball.  Alathar Quarflis put up decent numbers for the visitors, adding an assist to his 23 kills, but it wasn't nearly enough.  Vincent the Farmer, who is likely drinking as we speak, had 2 points on the game, including the game-winner late in the 4th quinting.  Lor the Inbred added 34 kills as the Vale is victorious and the Sheep are rejoicing.  The final: 6-4."
DA: "Baaaaa-ERP! I believe the call is in the Vale.  Sresar Vale moves to 4-0 on the year and a three-way tie for first place.  One of those teams is Hornath-ul-Marfed who hosted the Gessihorna grubballers tonight.  Kylus of the North again was held without a point, though he did add an assist in the contest.  Bralk Oblaslor and Luk Sarten each scored once and had a helper.  Dorn the Cold and Elrich the Bearded each scored once for Gessihorna.  The final, Hornath moves to 4-0 by a score of 6-3.
DA: "Now to the rest of the league.  Millabratel over Peraltok Valley by a score of 7-3.  Edmund Dralst had 2 points for Milly and Teo Gonall had 3 assists.  Bolk Sarktuka had 42 kills, moving him into a tie with Kota the Wolf for the league lead in kills at 136.  MystHaven pummeled Ruthmarna United by a score of 7-1, much to the delight of the capacity crowd at Molentia Circle.  Gorben the Smooth had a point and an assist and the rookie, Io Balzek, scored his first two points of his career.  Sivriana defeated Tagrana Memorial 4-1, Kenglith Rufnor with 2 assists for the winners.
DA: "And as they say, that's all she wrote, folks.  Another thrilling night in the land of the AGL.  We'll see you again this Sunday for more Grubball Tonight.  I am Dern Arnak, for Westin Tarbral, bidding you a grubball evening.  Take care, folks."
