DA: "Good evening grubball fans, I am Dern Arnak and with me is Westin Tarbral and welcome to Grubball Tonight.  It is a day of rest for the league-leading grubballers of Drache, giving them an extra few days of rest in this still, young season.  It also gave a chance for other teams to close the gap on the leader.  We start tonight in Angelsin where the still undefeated Dire Sheep of the Vale came to town with exactly those intentions.  Only the tie with Arankeep earlier in the season mars the would-be perfect record.  Dalt the Common was back on the field after the injury suffered against that same Arankeep team and he hasn't missed a step in the absence, scoring once and adding a helper.  Despite Angelsin's two points, it was all Sresar Vale as they win by a score of 5-2, moving them only one point behind Drache in the standings.
DA: "Arankeep at Mhernettla.  Both teams looking to turn this season around though only the Korthai having had expectations at the start of the year.  Goren the Sly scored again for the Keepers, giving him two points in as many games.  It would come up short, though, as the hometeam Korthai scored one point in each of the last two quintings to win the game by a final count of 2-1.  Bralk Glostage and Elythan Bluemoon each scored for the winners.
DA: "Hornath ul-Marfed, one of those teams looking to catch up to Drache in the standings and tonight, the resurgence of the force that is Kylus of the North.  You cannot stop him, you can only hope to contain him.  He scored 2 points tonight, adding a helper on another point and Hornath wins 5-3.  It was only a matter of time, Westin, before the great Kylus finally scored again."
WT: "Like you said, you can only *hope* to contain him.  Kylus of the North is a scorer, plain and simple.  He's a perfect blend of power and finesse and he wants the Arlok Cup.  He went a couple games without scoring but don't let that fool you.  He holds the AGL record for most multi-point games in his career by quite a few and once again tonight, he scores twice in the win.  Now, Hornath is in a straight-up tie with Drache for the top spot in the league, and they still have two games against one another in this season."

DA: "And we certainly will look forward to those.  We go now to the Valley...Peraltok Valley where those Islanders were coming to town.  MystHaven also looking to get a piece of that leaderboard pie, though they would still be a game back in the loss column.  In the stands tonight, Drache forschbowler Kota the Wolf.  Perhaps the night off left him wanting for a game and what better game than to scout the fierce competition.  The game was slow-moving, with only a few real breakaways, though one of those was scored by the Goddess, Anika Conrad, who presently leads the league in points with 10.  Gorben the Smooth, who played with Kota in his rookie year, also scored for MystHaven as they win by a final count of 3-1, moving them to that tie for first place.

DA: "Other scores from around the league.  Bralk Lakrath gets their second win of the season, beating Sivriana 3-2.  Galanor moves into a direct tie with MystHaven, doubling up Gessihorna, 2-1.  Tralazir in the upset over Millabratel in 6 quintings, 2-1.  A rather busy night of grubball and we've brought you the highlights once again.  A reminder, AGL President Branth Elrin will make an announcement by the end of this week regarding the possible changes to the AGL playoffs.  For Westin Tarbral, I am Dern Arnak bidding you all a grubball evening.  Good night, folks."
