Two nights since his capture had passed, still awaiting the Council to come and let themselves be known. Marriska stirred slightly in her bed, twisting and turning in a frail attempt to get comfortable and then, finally gain some rest. In the East, the sun threatened to rise soon.

Myles laid on the couch where she had left him. His skin was not the olive tone it used to be it had gone pale. He shuddered from the weakness within almost convulsing him he drops to the floor with a thud a moan escapes his lips. Myles needed to feed he fought back the beast that need to feed, he promised Marriska he would try. Slowly he gathered himself up to his hands and knees to crawl towards her bedroom only to collapse again onto the hard floor. He was weak the blood wine wasn't enough for what was removed from him.

Marriska turned over in her bed. Blood sweat poured from her as she tossed her head from side to side at the nightmare that seemed to have taken hold on her. "No, please... I didn't do anything to you... I'm sorry Dae... I'm so sorry..." Her pillow was soaked, her long, silky, black curly hair matted against her head and cheeks.

"Marriska......"Myles groaned thru dry lips, "please ...... help me..." he one again tried clawing his away across the floor his nails gouging scratches into the wood slowly with what little energy he had he tried to make his way to her room.
Marriska "How... How...?" His words seemed to fit with her nightmare. "Please... don't die on me Dae... Not now... Not after I have found you again..." Tears spilled from her eyes, falling down her pale, lilly white cheeks and mingling with her hair.
Myles made his way to the door scratching at it as he did it pushed open with a quiet creak of old hinges. "Marriska ......"  he made is way on hands and knees blood tinged sweat dripping from his brow causing his strength to ebb further. To the bed he reached pulling on the covering trying in vein to get to her.
Marriska sat up with a start, her chest heaving with breath she took in too fast, too hard. She brings a hand to her face and wipes at the blood that's on it. She then looks to Myles, furrowing her brow slightly. "Myles... what are you doing up?"
From the floor he looks up to her, he is visibly shuddering from the need to feed. "I hunger.." was all he could say as his look fell away with him falling to the floor.

Marriska looked at him on the ground and then closed her eyes. What was she going to do? The Council seemed to be taking their time to get here and she felt bad that he was suffering. She swallowed slightly and then pushed away the covers to her bed, exposing her lilly white flesh to the cold of the room. She kneeled before him, stroking his cheek lightly. "Myles... I..." ark red lips purse together as she stares down at him.
she stares down at him.
Myles looked up at her his breathing labored, "Please help ..... me" was all he got out his need to feed, and soon, he wished he was free to go feed, he wished he was in his childe's arms.

Marriska chews on her lips slightly. She swallows and then offers him her wrist. "Here... Drink..."
Myles reaches up with his hand and grips her arm eagerly bringing her to his lips. With a renewed sense he bites into flesh his fangs sinking into her veins the lust to drink was upon him, and she presented the meal to him. Drinking her life's blood he could immediately feel the affects, a wave of heat washed over him he was coming alive once more.
Marriska winced as he bit deeply into her flesh. She groaned at the pain that swept over her and then gave into the feeling of being drained. She sat there for a while and then something clicked and she attempted to take her arm away from her. No, this shouldn't be happening... This couldn't be happening.
Myles drank with fervor her blood tasted sweet, and he wanted more. He could feel his strength coming back like it had never left him. It was a strange feeling never having drank from another of his kind. He held her tight he wanted more his eyes snapped open with the knowing, at the same time he was saddened feeling Marriska's pain, but he felt power again.
Marriska ~Release me Myles... please... Release me...~ Her mind reeled as he drank from her. It felt so alike how Daefyd drank from her. How her Sire drank from her, his name having been forgotten all those years ago. She wished to give in, wished to let him just take away all her pain and let him have it. Flashes entered his mind, rape of her form passed before his eyes. The cruelty of her tongue being sliced from her mouth, the scars lined across her stomach, sides and back.
Myles kept drinking her voice, but a far of whisper in his mind the hunger overtaking him, the power, but then the pain ..... the horrible pain he could feel from her the suffering she had been thru. He fought a tug of war in his mind, drinking from her felt so good, but feeling her pain was beginning to sicken him, how could anyone bare such pain? Hearing her heart beat building in his mind her words echoed to him .. the blood tasted good and he drank it all then suddenly it hit him and slowly he fought the battle to stop drinking.

Marriska weakened, her form falling to the side slightly, her pale blue eyes glassing over, becoming nearly empty. She closed them slowly, blood tears falling. Perhaps this is what they all wanted, to have her be rid of, to allow him to continue with what he was doing. Maybe that's why they had not come. Her mind slowly moved over the possibilities, the endlessness of it all, causing her to only wish to see the end of this.

Myles pulled away from her licking the wounds he had made he had drained her, but not completely. He was sad, and filled with regret he truly wanted to understand, to know, to learn from Marriska. He checked to be sure she was still breathing, and with his renewed strength he picked her up from the floor and placed her upon her bed. Gently he covered her with a blanket, and then wiped away her tears from her soft cheeks. He wished she would have been his sire. "I'm sorry.."

Marriska Perhaps this was all a dream within a dream, it had to be. This couldn't have happened. This shouldn't have happened.
Myles leaned forward and kissed Marriska gently on the cheek, "I am sorry thine elder I fear the council, but not as much as I fear doing wrong by you." he got up and went to the cupboard where she kept her bottled blood wine and brought a bottle to her for her to drink, but he left it closed just yet, "I am sure you will find me again, and I know you will have to strike me down, but I hope that I will have showed you I have learned."  he took a brief moment to find a way to way to leave a note, parchment and ink pen. There was a small desk not far from her bed, stashed in the corner. On the desk, he would see the beginnings of a letter, to be sent to the council, Daefyd Kincaid the addressee.
Myles wrote out a small note basically repeating what he had whispered to her. Myles turned to look at her still form laying in the bed, and he began to search the house for anything of use or even the dagger, she would surely come find him for the dagger. In reality he wanted to be found by her again, but not until he had proven himself.
There were no weapons inthe house, the Assimite dagger having been given to Vash, the only weapon that Marriska had ever really carried besides her protean claws and her fangs. She hoped only to use such things when she was needed to, only when words were not enough.
Myles spent the daylight hours using his mind to search the land outside Marriska's haven to find his pack or better yet his childe. Sitting in a chair in her room he watched her while he did this, and he wondered what could have been. He waited as the day moved on.
As the skies darkened it was time for Myles to be off, he thought it thru he needed to be away, he needed to fix things himself.  He stood to walk over to Marriska's still body on the bed with a note in one hand, and a bottle of her mixed blood wine in the other he pressed the note into her hand and closed her fingers around it. He then opened her mouth, and as she did for him he poured the drink in letting her drink. He leaned forward again kissed her softly on the forehead, "I'm sorry..." and after a few swallows he corked the bottle and left it next to her. Quickly he turned and thru the house to the front door he went locking it from behind so she was safe. Off into the darkness of the forest a man changed form in mid stride to be replaced by a wolf running away from his elder, his captor, his teacher....
.... too Marriska it was another bad dream....
