WOWEE!!! Rocco and others, thanks SO much for steering me into adjusting the
passband - you were right on the money and you're right the results are
MAGIC. The negative voltage reading on the passband slugs were way off when
I first started. After peaking each one for maximum negative voltage, the
receiver is soooooo much better - like night and day. And the passband works
perfectly now; no more equal cw carriers on each side when tuning the same
signal!! AND the S meter now works correctly as I set that per the manual
too...
