Hello to all on the list,
I recently cleaned all of the switches and pots in my T-4XC and as a result I disturbed the setting of the carrier balance pot (R-21).
I am having some trouble understanding the procedure that is in the manual .
It states to adjust this pot for minimum S meter on another receiver. I tried to do this and I think that I got it ok but am unsure.
Any experience with this on the list and if so any tricks, tips or words of wisdom from experience would be greatly appreciated.
Also, when I was cleaning this pot, I was trying to run it through it's full range and found that apparently it does not have any stops, or mine is broken.
Does anyone have any details on the mechanical construction of this pot? I have have never seen one like this before.
