I'm seeking opinions. I've been having a lot of fun working
CW with my T4XB I got last week with a nice old SX101A I recently recapped.
The only problem being...
everytime a really strong station comes on the band even remotely close by
copy gets very rough. I was thinking of getting the R4B anyway...plus I've
read nice things about the radio in general. Now I've been toying with the
idea of getting an R4C and gradually adding the Sherwood mods
to better cope with the often crowded CW bands. What do you guys think? It
would be a lot of fun to work on the R4C but the big problem is, of course,
the R4C has become a COLLECTORS ITEM! and is priced accordingly. So how is
the R4B on close by signals?
Thanks!
