I have been having frequent problems with messages from this list locking up my email lately. 4 times this month (March) alone I have had to call my ISP and have messages deleted from my incoming mailbox in order to download the rest of my mail. Is anyone else experiencing this difficulty? Does anyone have any ideas what's happening? I have McAfee scan on my system as well as my ISP having it on its system.

No problem here, but then I am running Suse 9 Pro rather than a M$ product ... perhaps you might upgrade to Linux?
