But woe to you if you try to take it off and
expect to find a clean connector underneath. It doesn’t separate cleanly.
The chief CBS tower installation manager—when these things were still being
installed in number—swore by wrapping a joint in electrical tape and then
molding the coax seal over it. I’ve done it both ways, and if
