As promised, I took a look into the interior of my RP-500.with the thought of drawing up the schematic for you.
Unfortunately, my RP-500 is potted in resin with a wire from each of the SO259's disappearing in the resin.. The only component I can make out is a small enamal coated coil.
I guess you'll have to rely on those with the RP 700 (that apparently is not potted) to give you the schematic.
