Personally, I agree with Gary. Most of us here on this list are true DRAKE enthousiasts. Some others are here just to make some $$ and we all know/suspect who they are. The DRAKE enthousiasts will always oppose taking apart or otherwise destroy DRAKE-made radios. Those who are here to make $$ will tend to acquire/take apart/ destroy/sell anything they lay their hand on including fully functional or fully equipped radios if this means profit. E-Bay is their main vehicle. Will I knowingly sell my rig to them ?. It depends. If I have no other means left to pay my bills - I will. But normally I will not.
