Ron Wagner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang

I made a short (about 3-4 inches) jumper plug for my B line with heat shrink around it so that it does not scratch the rig. I now use the TR7 4-pin standard for all my mics (I only have "antique" radios that need a few pins). I also have made up male-to-female 4-pin coiled jumpers etc to mate or extend things with. Although my bassy voice is such that I can only use one specific mic per rig, it offers the flexability to move and experiment with mics.

As for the box idea, that sounds interesting. Given a quality switchs and good shielding, you could do mic A-B experiments very easy. You could also swap to a "DX mic" from a "rag-chew mic" if the band suddenly went down. It has so many possibilites.

Ron
