"Ron Baker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For a quiet fan, consider using a DC fan equivalent. Use a 12VDC fan if you want full air flow. If you want air flow and a very quiet fan try installing a 24VDC fan running at 12 VDC. The fan still provides decent air flow and is quiet to a point of not being heard. I put the 24VDC fans on both my TR7 and TR5 and its works great for me.

"Floyd Sense" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I ran my TR7 from a PS7 for the first time today and the fan that's on the TR7 makes too much noise (it's not the Drake fan). Has anyone found a relatively quiet fan? I suppose I could always install a 12V fan and then slow it down as required, but maybe there's a quiet AC fan available? 73, Floyd - K8AC ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Submissions: drakelist@www.zerobeat.net Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - unsubscribe drakelist in body Hopelessly Lost: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - help in body of message Zerobeat Web Page: www.zerobeat.net - sponsored by www.tlchost.net ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Submissions: drakelist@www.zerobeat.net Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - unsubscribe drakelist in body Hopelessly Lost: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - help in body of message Zerobeat Web Page: www.zerobeat.net - sponsored by www.tlchost.net ----------------------------------------------------------------------
