hi,
I have run into a problem with my R-4 - when adjusting the recv sens and
Smeter sens pots as to the manual procedure all is well however when
adjusting RF gain to fully CCW position the S meter needle reads +45 to
+50 at most. I have turned the s meter sens potentiometer as far as
possible but it will not achieve +60. I tried swapping the 12AV6 for
grins but that made no difference at all (even with the tube removed so
I don't think it matters).
