The 6GJ5 is a good replacement. It's _identical_ to the 6JB6, with the exception that the suppressor grid is tied to the cathode internally in the "GJ". This is of no concern in the grounded cathode Class AB1 operation of the Drake finals. It doesn't appear to affect the neutralization. Some have reported reduced gain on 10M, but I haven't seen that problem.. There is variation among brands, especially on 10M. The "name" brands don't seem to be a problem, i.e., Sylvania, RCA, GE and Zenith (appear to be Sylvania by construction) all work fine. The Standard and Raytheon brands do NOT work, at least in my experience with several samples. The gain drops dramatically on the higher bands, to only 10-15W on 10M, and not much better on 15.
They will plug in directly in the T-4(any) transmitters, and (probably) in the TR-(any) series, although I haven't tried them there.
