From time to time, there has been some discussions about fan speed control.
Lately I've come into some little circuit boards supporting a pair of
thyristors for AC speed control. I added a little pot making it self
contained hovever if desired it could be left off for remote speed control.
The load triac is rated at 400 vac 0.8 amps. A picture is available at:
