Hi Kevin -
Sherwood offers a bunch of different "improvements" to the R-4C. They
also offer to "convert" the R-4C to their version, and I suspect that is
what you have. I don't think there was a "standard" conversion, but you
should be able to ID the changes by referring to my CD and

I picked up a R4C. It has a silver plate for the serial number. It
has the Drake R4C number 29573 and Sheerwood Serial number of 873.
Is there anyway to determine what Sheerwood mods are in the unit based
on the numbers.
Any insight appreciated. The rig appears to have been sent to
Sherwood at some point.
