[EMAIL PROTECTED] made an utterance to the drakelist gang
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I'm back from wonderful Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, so have had time to try
out the
suggestions on the T4X mic wiring from a couple weeks back.

And the winner is....

   Red - tip
   White - sleeve (middle)
   black + braid - body

VOX works OK, plus if I monkey with the control on the back of the T4X I can
disable VOX
and it works fine PTT.

Also has more output than my old Turner(with built-in-preamp).

On Malaysia, interesting food: Malay, Thai, Chinese, Korean, etc.

But I paid $7.14 for a 12oz Bud (I think a personal record for me),
and NO pork BBQ, no pork of any sort. Instead beef bacon, chicken sausage,
etc...

God Bless America and Happy 4th to all !

Thanks and
